About Pappi · Founded by Verge
A fragrance story carried home.
Pappi began with Verge, a returning OFW who spent eight years living and working in Singapore before coming home to Cebu to be closer to family.
Those years abroad were shaped by responsibility: helping a younger brother finish school and establish himself, then finding a way forward after losing both parents. When the weight of those responsibilities eased, coming home became a chance to stay close to loved ones—and to build something meaningful in Cebu.
After studying perfumery and formulation in Malaysia and Singapore, Verge founded Pappi around April 2024. The first idea was simple and personal: give Filipino domestic helpers and fellow OFWs access to scents inspired by the character of luxury fragrances, at a fraction of luxury prices.
Today, that idea has come home. Pappi has become a thoughtful pasalubong and gift chosen by OFW kababayans for the people they love in the Philippines—bottling a little confidence, connection and memory in every scent.
